Alzheimer's Walk: 24th September

One of the biggest and most important events, the annual Alzheimer's Walk took place on the 24th September, in which me and Harini, as student leaders took part. We were also happy to have invited our friends, including Annie, a student leader of another CAS at school, where we collaborated and worked together for a meaningful cause.

This is the third walk I took part in, and as usual, we met other people working in different areas within the Foundation and were encouraged by thier effort in trying to help the patients and their families. Also, we held banners and posters, and carried balloons along our walk around the Colombo City. This helped us raise awareness on the important and global issue and was a valuable experience where we could work collaboratively and communicate with people outisde of school who also share the goal of helping the Alzheimer's patients and thier families.
