Reflection of 15th~18th November

1. MUN (15th November:)
The debate on the topic of homosexuality and same sex marriage is coming up. Thus, having completed most of the research, we divided ourselves into corresponding groups based on the stance of each country assigned. I will speak for UK, which at the moment, is in objection to same sex marriage and from the discussion with my group, I am planning to speak about the medical and health implications that could arise as a consequence of same sex marriage which prevents the UK government from allowing it. Throughout the week, I have continously refreshed and added to my research which helped me gain more understanding and knowledge on this issue.

2. Alzheimer's (18th November)
As a weekly meeting, we got together after a long time and achieved quite a number of things together. First of all, we discussed about different events of the foundation coming up, such as a Scrabble Game, which in fact didn't seem practical for us, as it required an entrance fee of 10000 Rs. Then, we moved on to more work that needs to be done on our behalf. Me and Harini, we decided to work on the presentation for the upcoming assembly to explain futher about what this work is about, how we intend to help, raise awareness and inform the people how their money contributed have been handed over and spent productively.

3. Tennis lesson (18th November)
For the first half of the lesson, I worked on the forehand and backhand shots, with the aim to be in more control of the ball and the direction. After much endurance, perseverance and practice, my partner and I are able to hit some pretty good shots and we are now able to keep a fairly decent rally going!

Then, for the second half of the lesson, we learned something new: Serve! First, the coach instructed us to hold the ball as if holding an icecream cone (which i failed understand at the beginning  =.=) and demonstrated how it would be done. It was mostly getting the arms and feet on the correct positions that we aimed to practice.
